Membership dues in The Chamber SWLA may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Dues paid to the Chamber SWLA are not a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes. The Chamber SWLA is not a charity, but serves as an advocate organization for area businesses.
Contributions to the Alliance Foundation are deductible as charitable contributions on the donor's federal income tax return. The Foundation works to expand economic opportunities across Southwest Louisiana.
