Public Safety
Southwest Louisiana's law enforcement and public safety agencies work hand-in-hand with each other, in partnership with area residents. They strive to provide a high level of public safety and security. The area's crime rate is below national average due to the resilience of area law enforcement. In addition, the area has excellent crime prevention programs such as Crime Stoppers and Neighborhood Watch that continue to have a positive impact in the area.
