The SEED Center Business Incubator was named the Rural Incubator of the Month for May 2018 by InBIA. The SEED Center Business Incubator was listed as a Rural Incubator due to its five-parish service area.
“This recognition is a significant achievement given the large number of member incubators around the world. This award was based upon the milestones and metrics achieved by our incubator compared to all other incubator programs,” said Adrian Wallace, Executive Director of the SEED Center Business Incubator. “Since we moved into the SEED Center in August 2013, we have housed 40 businesses with 7 graduating out of the SEED Center Business Incubator into office spaces around the region.”
“As a testament to the spirit of what we are working to accomplish, one of our early incubator clients - Waitr – entered into an agreement with Tilman Fertitta’s Blank Check Company to buy the food delivery startup for $308 million,” continued Wallace.
